The Mission of the Arts+Design Cooperative is to support paid apprenticeships for underserved youth in the Mt. Washington Valley, through contemporary art and design projects, and with a particular focus on Social Justice.

The Arts+Design Co-op will teach young creatives the technical and conceptual art and design skills of drawing, painting, digital photography, digital film/moving-image, graphic design, web design and/or three-dimensional design, and will support continuing education and professional careers in the Arts.
Students will develop their own artwork and build a portfolio, and will create commercial design projects for local businesses and municipalities for a fee, and will sell their artwork through the Arts+Design Co-op Gallery.
Students will be mentored by Artists and Design professionals.
The Arts+Design Co-op is a non-profit enterprise, funded primarily via Grants and fundraising/development, and supplemented with proceed of student and staff artwork via gallery sales and through commercial design projects within the community.
