RECENT WORK

My current work reflects the dichotomy of my practice as a painter: traditional landscapes, many painted in the plein-air, on site and from observation; and larger studio creations, still rooted in the landscape as a point of departure, but about the skyscape and the ambiguity of the horizon, and about the paint as exploration of the tension between realism and abstraction.
